38 Week Pictures
Our friend Lexi volunteered to take some pictures for us last week! I guess we could call them "Maternity" pictures. I have seen some couples do some funky shots and awkward poses, so I wanted this to just be casual and cute. We went to the Beach (and faced lots of wind..) and we went to a local Lake to take some more shots. Here are a few of our favorite ones...

39 Weeks!
Our weekly visit to Dr. Shakr brought us a bit of annoying news! Apparently I am still only 1cm dilated and my cervix isn't all that ready for the baby (the doctor last week was being generous with measurements apparently). He hasn't even "dropped" yet, but is in the right position for the birth. If nothing happens up until Tuesday we will go in for stress tests and an ultrasound on Wednesday, followed by a meeting with the doctor to discuss induction. He estimates Timothy J is over 8LBS now! WE ARE SOOOOO READY!!!!!!!!

5.22.09
I had another check with Dr. Champion (who I'm getting to like, despite a rough first meeting) and apparently my BP was a fluke the other day and my labs and readings were fine. I am still between 1-2 cm dilated and my cervix is fully prepared.
No symptoms of pre-eclampsia as of now. Although I'm having some awesome foot and ankle swelling lately, partly due to the heat this last week and probably not keeping them elevated at work. I plan to continue work until this week, most likely until Wednesday and call it quits for 6-7 weeks, I will most likely return mid July. Getting up in the AM is getting harder, due to my sleepless nights and unusual sleep intervals. I am terribly uncomfortable-he has grown so much in the last few weeks!
We have our bag packed, and we are anxiously awaiting something to happen. We have our phone calls lined and up and birth plan in place. I feel confident that it will be a great experience for T.J. and I-Timothy J will be worth the wait!

1CM dilated and my cervix is dropping........!!!!!! Although, I have symptoms of "Preeclampsia" I am doing fine. I will be going back on Friday for another dilation check and blood pressure check.
Pre-eclampsia (US: preeclampsia) is a medical condition where hypertension arises in pregnancy (pregnancy-induced hypertension) in association with significant amounts of protein in the urine.

37 week check-up
18 Days to go!
My doctor visit on Tuesday went well..Timothy J is getting ready for his entrance into the world. I am 50% effaced and my cervix is really soft. Good sign of my body getting ready I guess, I'm half way there! My tummy feels lower and I have had a lot of pressure on my pelvis and trouble getting out of bed pain-free lately.
I get sporatic braxton-hicks contractions that make me stop and pause, but nothing thats really made me scared yet. Dr. Shakr thinks we still have a little time left, but it will be soon! My next visit is on Thursday of next week so we will see what has progressed on that day.

36 Weeks
We only have a few weeks to go, can you believe it! The anxiety isn't to bad lately since we have most everything ready for Timothy J's arrival. Clothes are washed, bassinet is all set...etc.
This week brings: swollen legs/feet, a total "weeble" feeling, pressure and tightness of the abdomen, and random bitchyness. I have been tired most days and its honestly a struggle to wake up every morning and head to work with a smile on my face. I have the waddle down pat and I am wearing the same pants pretty much everyday...(awesome!). My coworkers and friends are rather anxious to get "the call" and we are ready to finally meet our little man!
