Limited Ultrasound 1/19/09

We had an additional ultrasound last night. This one was in hopes of seeing his legs and feet a little better. We were able to see his legs, toes, feet, and lots of other things! He has developed so much more in the past 2 weeks, its incredible to see him change. We even saw him open his mouth and wiggle his arms around. He is pretty active these days.

Here are some additional pictures I scanned..

ITS A BOY!

Foreshadowing?

And so it begins! We went up to New Hampshire last night to T.J.'s cousins Chris and Judys house, they were gracious enough to give us their son Jonathans baby clothes, a bassinet, 2 vibrating bouncers, a tub, and a play pad! We are so excited and grateful that they have let us take these things off their hands, it helps out immensely! It has been so fun looking through the clothes and seeing the cute little things I can but our little one in!

Baby Banana!

Apparently he is the size of a banana this week, so on my way to work (with my breakfast) I decided to stop and take this photo op. :)

January Appt. with Dr. Shakr

I met with Dr. Shakr this morning and had a quick check up. His heartbeat is 158-160 as usual, my urine, and blood pressure are excellent.

I have only gained a pound! I told them I eat quite a bit more than I used to in the beginning, but they are not concerned with this yet since I'm on the heavier side anyways, but as weeks progress they will keep an eye on it. As long as the baby is growing we are fine.

My tummy size and his position are good and right on track. The position of my uterus is still preventing me from feeling, and Dr. Shakr said it could be up until 24 weeks until I really feel the movement.

I have to get a 2nd ultrasound on Monday, since they didn't really see the feet/legs really well in the other one. I don't mind, it'll let me see him again and count his little toes.

Ultrasound Photos 01.06.09

We had our 19 week ultrasound done this week, and as you all know already we are having a baby boy! We got to see all of the parts of our little one, they are all developing normal and he is right on track. I have an anterior placenta, which is no danger, it just means it will take me a bit longer to really feel him kicking and moving. He weighs a little over 10 ounces, which is in the 48% weight, not to big or to small. As you can see in the pictures, there is no denying he is a boy...

Happy New Year!

We spent New Years with our closest friends and had a good time out at Ryans house. I managed to stay up until 2 am...don't ask me how! Happy New Year to everyone..and we sure are looking forward to all the new adventures to come.

(On a side note, while at the party a Snoop Dogg song came on really loud and the baby started wiggling....now do I have a RAP Music Fan growing inside me??!?!!)

The FINAL move-Apartment Update

We have settled in the new place (2E) we will call it. After moving in a Northeastern snow storm and straining a butt cheek muscle (yeah, not fun) we have managed to settled these past 2 weeks and we couldn't be more pleased with this building. We have more room, higher ceilings, bigger closets and get this, QUIET neighbors. We haven't heard a peep out of them, just a minor bark or 2 from their dogs when at the door. The 3rd floor is a luxury and a pain in the ass at the same time, but it has been worth the frustration and move to get here. I will get some pictures on sometime soon.
