Birthday!

I turn a 1/4 century old tomorrow!!

I got a really cute cake and some gift cards today at work! I have also recieved some very nice cards in the mail! :) Tomorrow is just another day, maybe a lunch with a few girlfriends--and we will keep to ourselves most likely. This girl doesn't need anything extravagent! :) I have to go to class tomorrow night and review for finals next week though-darn it!

School is almost DONE for the semester!!!

Airbrushing Lesson

We got to have the FUN Enterprises airbrush set-up last weekend, so we thought we would fool around and make a canvas art design for ourselves. It was my first time learning, and I had a great time doing it! (They are 311 inspired of course..)

Yaaaaaaaaaay!

After having a long day filled with bad drivers, a grumpy boss, and a 4 1/2 hour class...things just got better!

My mom is coming to Boston to visit for a week in June! We booked her ticket tonight and made it official...I am so excited to show her everything around here and let her see what this place is all about. It will be a whole new world to her I'm sure, as it was to me when I visited. She will be here for the reception in June as well, and will hopefully lend some of her crafty ideas to the plans!

an afternoon to ourselves..

We made our way into the city earlier this week, enjoyed a nice walk in the rain (cheesey!)and people watched. It's nice to go into town and see these things, but then you see the crazies and wanna get out! It makes me grateful we live outside the city.

Schedule....

I start my Spring semester tandem course tomorrow...(Human Growth and Development)

So for the rest of the semester I will be enjoying this schedule:
Monday: Work 8-5pm
Tuesday: Work 8-5pm and Class 6-10:30pm
Wednesday: Off AM and Class 5:45-9pm
Thursday: Work 8-5pm and Class 6-10:30pm
Friday: Work 8-5pm

It's only until May 10th...but its going to be a crazy few weeks!

Moving on up!

So, we finally heard back from the lady that showed us an apartment last week. She offered the place to us, and we gladly accepted!

We will figure our dates within a few days for the move. We are so excited! A great thing too is that we get to paint everything our color of choice (for reduced rent since we would do the painting). We will keep you posted!

Ok, this ones for my sister.. :)

NKOTB (NEW KIDS ON THE BLOCK) are coming together again for a reunion..and how lucky am I to live in their old stomping grounds of Boston! My sister, bless her heart, put up with a naggy little sis who loved NKOTB and begged her for all her memorabilia when she grew older. (I only wish we had half the items she passed down to me..)

Tour dates will soon be announced...and you can bet (depending on the $$) that I'll be there shaking my butt! With big sis on my mind.. :)

3.11 Wedding

A place to call our HOME!

So we had planned on moving this summer. As most of you know-our place is SMALL. I mean you can hear one another pee "small". No-privacy-for-tv-or-study-time small. No-nap-time small. And definitely "annoy each other to the brink, small".

So we have been looking around, sending e-mails..blah, blah...the whole hassle of explaining yourselves to people stuff. We have gotten many responses and possibilities but have been stearn with sticking to our budget and roomy expectations.

We got a response today from a nice woman renting out the bottom of her house, which was made into a 2 bedroom apartment. We went a looked at it and spent about 2 hours with her and her husband just talking about everything. We seemed to hit it off!

If we were to get this place we could move in within a month, and have freedom to paint and fix the place up to our liking. The apartment has a ton of potential and character. We are excited!

Hopefully we will hear something back from her by the weekend! Wish us luck!
