We picked up our car last Friday and we have really been enjoying it so far! It fit 5 of us comfortably on our way to the 311 show Friday, we were suprised. :) T.J. loves driving it, and has taken me up on our agreement that he can drive it weekends and on Wednesdays. I get to drive it to work...yaaaaaaaaaay. haha. It's weird being officially registered in MA now..at least they let me keep my Wyoming plates!

Honeymoon Change

Our plans for our stay in Florida changed a few days ago, the place we were going to stay overbooked and our reservation didn't go through. So we scrambled to find another place to stay!
Sooooo..we are now staying at "The Lido Beach Resort" it's still located on Longboat Key. This was a resort I had looked at when we started our hotel search, and I strayed away from it due to the price. But after much thought we agreed this is our honeymoon and we want to have an amazing time so why not go for a great place. We decided to get a great Romance Getaway package which includes-a beach front room, champagne/strawberries upon arrival, a beach cabana to ourselves, and breakfast in bed the 2 mornings we are there...

Our Happy Place--311 & Snopp Dogg 7/18
We survived another 311 show in Boston! The show was great, we had pretty good seats, but the humidity was AWFUL, as it was last year. The show drew a very young crowd this year, lots of teenagers and Snoop Dogg fans.
We are very excited for the Tampa show, humidity and all! We have pit tickets......so it should be sticky and interesting!

Our Honeymoon Plans
We went ahead and booked flights to Sarasota, FL next week from the 25th to the 29th. While we are there we are planning on staying at a small private area for two nights on Longboat Key, FL. We found a cute private Bungalow resort located right on the Gulf front. We are grateful it is tourism off-season, otherwise the rates would have been absurd! With our short time there we will also see Kristine, who lives a few minutes away, get to see another 311 show in Tampa, and spend the day there as well. Its a perfect way to spend our honeymoon...

I think we found it!
We went to the dealership named "Planet Subaru" and test drive a few cars yesterday. We arrived falling for the Chevy Equinox, left loving a Subaru Tribeca. I never thought we would be Subaru people! We immediately fell for it across the lot and walked over to it....BEAUTIFUL but a bit soccer mommish for my taste. We had to take it for a drive even though it was a little more pricey than we had looked for. We took it for a long drive city and highway, pulled over checked all the fun stuff out and both agreed we wanted to try and get this car..we were in Loooove!

Its a 2006 Subaru B9 Tribeca, 15,474 miles, one owner, its certified...and its GREEN!!!!!
The dealership has it booked $8,000 less than what Kelley Blue Book suggested. The ratings on it are wonderful, insurance is low and it drives great. We will find out all of the information and payment options on Monday, but for now we have placed a deposit on it so no one can come and snag it up. They agreed to give me $1500 for my Blazer, which in turn they are doing more of a favor to me by taking it off my hands. We are nervous and scared..but very excited and hopes this works out! We will let you know SOON!

Our Car Search!
We have been talking alot about trading in my blazer. We are hoping to purchase something by the end of the summer. Our main concern is gas savings, family friendly, and dependability. For awhile I had been interested in the 07 Nissan Altima-but I have figured out I am not a "car" girl.

I have sinced moved on from my car interest and have started exploring the smaller SUV options. We have come across 2 or 3 that we are interested in. Here they are:
1. 2007 Chevy Equinox
2. 2006 Nissan Murano
I have been in touch with some dealerships and we are just trying to decide which one to start with..so wish us luck in our new and scary adventure!

The calm after the storm..

Looking back on the pictures and memories made, we are so lucky to have such great people in our lives.
After all the stress, worries and tears these last months, this week was more than we could have ever expected and hoped for. Many thanks for the love, gifts and support we have received from everyone, and all the hard work that was put into making Saturday so special.
We cannot wait to start this journey together.

T.J.'s Knee
We went for a follow up to his MRI yesterday--
NO SURGERY! Everything looks intact, ligaments are fine, no tears, a little fluid on his knee and a basic sprain is present. Its basically scar tissue and irritated from his previous surgery.
Whats next: Taking it easy for the next few months, no sports or rough activity. No therapy needed, but I think I may schedule a few visits to get him some strength training. He can return to work Monday and officially after next weeks vacation.
Thank God! This would have been a strain on us and I am so thankful everything is okay!
No onto the next adventure: Mom comes to Boston!!!
